The AIDS Healthcare Foundation had a tribute to legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor which won the "Queen's Trophy.".

 

The Natural History Museum generated a lot of cheers from the kids for their intricate dinosaurs. They won the "Crown City Innovation Trophy."

 

Natural Balance Pet Food came up with this wild "Surf's Up" float featured a pool with a wave machine and dogs on surfboards. They won the "Extraordinaire Trophy."

 

Torrance, CA celebrates its 100th anniversary with this float. They won the "Governor's Trophy."

 

For the first time in parade history, a "finale" float signaled the conclusion to the official parade. This was possibly done due to the inclusion of an "Occupy Wall Street" protest march which came along after the floats.
